Takeaway without the wait.

Guests scan a QR, pay — Apple Pay, Google Pay, cards via Stripe or Square — and walk away. The shop gets a pickup queue. One ready ping when the bag is up. No app for guests.

How it works

The pickup line should not be a waiting room.

    Order
Customer scanning a QR code stand at a takeaway counter with their phone

    Scan the QR

On the counter, window or poster. Menu on their phone. No app. No account.

  2. 02

    Track
Customer walking away from the takeaway counter after paying on their phone

    Pay and walk away

Apple Pay, Google Pay or card through your Stripe or Square. They pay you, then leave the doorway clear.

  3. 03

    Collect
Customer getting a ready notification while the shopkeeper puts a takeaway bag on the counter

    One ready ping

You tap ready. Tracking page first. WhatsApp if they have it. SMS as backup. Then they come back for the bag.

Who it is for

Small Australian takeaway. Not a food court in another country.

Anywhere in Australia. If you take orders at the counter, on the phone, or through Uber and Menulog, this sits beside that while you pull pickup back in-house.

  • Fish & chips

    Friday night. The window queue.

  • Pizza

Phone off the hook from 5pm.

  • Asian takeaway

    Counter packed, wok already going.

  • Burger

Cars in the street, nobody wants to hover.

  • Chicken

Family bags. One ping, not ten questions.

Pricing

A monthly shop fee. Unlimited page orders.

AUD, Australia only. Paid from day one, cancel anytime. Card fees passed through. Extra SMS after the cap about 5 cents.

Questions

Straight answers for shop owners.

What is Takezi?+

Takezi is QR takeaway for Australian shops. Guests scan a QR at the counter or window, order and pay on their phone, then walk away. When the food is up they get one ready ping. The tracking page is first. WhatsApp if they have it. SMS as backup. No app for guests.

Who is this for?+

Small Australian takeaway — fish and chips, pizza, Asian takeaway, burger, chicken. Available Australia-wide, from the city strip to the coast. This is not a global marketplace.

Do guests need an app?+

No. They scan with the camera they already have. No account, no download. Staff run the pickup queue on takezi.app, on a phone or tablet behind the counter.

How do they pay?+

Apple Pay, Google Pay or card through your own Stripe or Square. Guests pay you. Card fees stay with that provider. Takezi does not take a cut of the food.

What do guests get told?+

One ready ping. Not a drip of marketing texts. Tracking page first. WhatsApp if they have it. SMS as backup. Extra SMS after your monthly cap is about 5 cents.

Is there a limit on orders?+

No. Page orders are unlimited. Plans are priced on SMS and WhatsApp allowance, not covers. A quiet Tuesday and a Friday night both fit.

Can we try it first?+

Paid from day one, cancel anytime. There is an optional 7-day taste: card on file, 20 SMS and 50 WhatsApp, then A$99. Open that on takezi.app. If you just want a yarn first, use the shop form on this site.

What about GST and card fees?+

Prices on this site are AUD, Australia only. GST is added at checkout on the Takezi subscription. Card fees on guest orders go through the shop's Stripe or Square. Extra SMS after the cap is about 5 cents.

How is this different from Uber or Menulog pickup?+

Delivery apps take a marketplace cut on pickup as well as delivery. Takezi is a shop subscription. No commission on the food. Guests pay you. You keep the customer.
