Pizza shops
QR ordering for pizza shops
Phone off the hook from 5pm. A line at the counter and flour on your hands. The QR takes both jobs off you.

Every order is an interruption
Someone at the counter reading the menu out loud. The phone ringing while you stretch dough. Both of those stop the ovens. A QR on the counter or the window lets walk-ins scan, pick the pizzas, and pay on the phone — Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card through your Stripe or Square — without you touching anything. No guest app. No account.
Tickets to the bench, boxes in order
Orders land on the pickup queue — a phone or tablet on the bench. You make pizzas in the order they came in instead of the order people shout. Nobody is leaning over the counter asking how long for a large capricciosa.
One ping when the box closes
Pizzas take time and people know it. They pay, they go sit in the car or walk the dog. When the box closes they get one ping — tracking page first, WhatsApp if they have it, SMS as backup — and come back for a hot box, not a table of cold ones. Extra SMS after the cap is about 5 cents. Page orders are unlimited.
Keep the margin on every pizza
Uber and Menulog take pizza orders. They also take a cut and keep the guest. Takezi is a shop subscription — A$99 (600 SMS / 1,000 WhatsApp) or A$249 (2,200 SMS / 6,000 WhatsApp). No food commission. Not a marketplace. Australia only. Paid from day one, cancel anytime. Optional 7-day taste: card on file, 20 SMS and 50 WhatsApp, then A$99.
