QR ordering for bakeries
Takezi provides QR ordering at Australian bakeries. The line at the cabinet is the job. People queued to order a roll, a pie, a loaf. A QR on the counter and they are not waiting to talk.
The line at the cabinet
Lunch is a queue to speak, then a queue to wait. Someone is hovering while you pack a bag that is not theirs. A QR on the counter or the window lets them scan, pick the rolls and pies, and pay on the phone — Apple Pay, Google Pay or a card through your Stripe or Square. They step aside. No guest app. No account. Guests pay you directly through your own payment account, payment processing fees are set by that provider, and Takezi takes no cut of the food.
Ticket up, bag packed
The ticket lands on the pickup queue. You pack. They are not standing in the doorway asking if it is theirs yet. When the bag is ready they get one ping — tracking page first, WhatsApp if they have it, SMS as backup. Extra SMS after your monthly cap is about 5 cents. Page orders are unlimited. The queue is a web page on a phone or tablet behind the cabinet — no new till, no integration project — and the only staff motion is tapping ready when the bag is packed.
A lunch order, step by step
- The guest scans the QR at the cabinet and picks the rolls and pies on their phone.
- They pay — Apple Pay, Google Pay or card through your Stripe or Square — and step out of the line.
- The ticket lands on the pickup queue behind the cabinet, in paid order.
- Bag packed, you tap ready. One ping goes out. They collect and the doorway stays clear.

Do customers need an app to order?+

Yes. Page orders are unlimited — plans are priced on SMS and WhatsApp allowance, not order volume. A packed lunch hour costs the same as a quiet morning.
